Afriqiyah Airways is expanding very fast to new destinations and has inaugurated its first non-stop flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh from Tripoli last Tuesday 27 October.
The new service is expected to provide an important comfortable flight that spares passengers the hustle of going through transit flights from this east Asian destination.
The new destination comes as the fast growing Libyan airlines is obtaining more new airplanes. Within the last two months, Afriqiyah took the delivery of thee new Airbus A330 which enabled it to add new destinations in Africa and other parts of the world.
Given the great location of its hub in Tripoli, Libya, Afriqiyah has the advantage to serve many destinations within the great continent of Africa and connect passengers with other flights from Tripoli International Airport.
On Tuesday, the first Afriqiyah A330-200 air jet arrived Dhaka airport carrying on board a number of Afriqiyah officials who participated in the opening ceremony of the new flights.
The official delegation included the Director of Planning,the Director of Airlines Network, Director of Passengers' Services Dept. and the company's representative in Dhaka.
Last week, Afriqiyah Airways took delivery of its third medium range Airbus A319.
The new airplane will be deployed to operate non-stop flights to Europe including Paris, Brussels, London, Rome, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam, as well as to 17 destinations in North-, West- and Central Africa and the Middle East.
The aircraft is configured to seat 124 passengers in a very comfortable two-class configuration and is powered by CFM56-5B engines.

Comment: It is good to hear this news. also I learn that Afriqiyah airlines are very comfortable. Moreove, the staff their are very kind. Finally ,it is really good news and we await further and good luck to all the workers on this airlines, especially the staff of aircrafts
