In a letter released by the White House, President Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, stated that despite being an 80-year-old male, President Biden is in good health and has the capacity to carry out the duties of the Presidency, including those of Chief Executive, Head of State, and Commander in Chief. O’Connor described Biden as a “healthy, vigorous” individual.
It has been stated that the President is completely able to perform his duties without any special considerations or exceptions, and remains fit to carry out his responsibilities.
As the oldest person to hold the position of US President, Biden underwent a set of tests earlier today which were initiated last year at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The facility, located in the Washington suburbs, includes a section dedicated to presidential care.
Although he has not yet announced his intention to run for re-election, President Biden is anticipated to do so shortly as the race is starting to intensify. On the Republican side, the primary contender at present is former President Donald Trump, who Biden defeated in the tumultuous 2020 election.
