80-Year-Old President Biden Declared Medically ‘Fit’ Ahead of 2024 Campaign

On Thursday, President Joe Biden underwent his final annual medical check-up before the anticipated announcement of his bid for re-election in 2024, when he will be at age of 82. His doctor declared him “fit for duty.”

After conducting extensive testing, the eagerly anticipated report revealed some minor concerns but ultimately confirmed that Biden does not have any significant physical or neurological issues.

In a letter released by the White House, President Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, stated that despite being an 80-year-old male, President Biden is in good health and has the capacity to carry out the duties of the Presidency, including those of Chief Executive, Head of State, and Commander in Chief. O’Connor described Biden as a “healthy, vigorous” individual.

It has been stated that the President is completely able to perform his duties without any special considerations or exceptions, and remains fit to carry out his responsibilities.

As the oldest person to hold the position of US President, Biden underwent a set of tests earlier today which were initiated last year at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The facility, located in the Washington suburbs, includes a section dedicated to presidential care.

Although he has not yet announced his intention to run for re-election, President Biden is anticipated to do so shortly as the race is starting to intensify. On the Republican side, the primary contender at present is former President Donald Trump, who Biden defeated in the tumultuous 2020 election.
