Just a few days ago, Hasan Salihamidzic had to vacate his post as sports director at Bayern Munich. But the Bosnian may soon find a place at a new club. The 46-year-old is said to be being courted by a top European club.
FC Bayern’s championship celebrations on the town hall balcony also became Hasan Salihamidzic’s farewell performance. The ex-professional has no longer worked as a sports director for the record champions since Saturday.
There are indications that “Brazzo” could quickly find a new job. According to Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in signing Salihamidzic. The Italian record champion has been without a sports director for a long time.
Salihamidzic in great demand – Juventus Turin looking for manager for a new start
The “Bianconeri” are currently in crisis because of an uncovered falsification of the balance sheet and illegalities in the payment of player salaries. A point deduction of ten points imposed by the league will end the current season outside of the Champions League places. The managers of the traditional club are therefore striving for a fresh start and are looking for a suitable manager.
Even if Salihamidzic is not the number 1 solution for Turin, the ex-professional has a good chance of becoming sports director. Juve’s real dream solution, the Italian Cristiano Giuntoli, is currently still under contract with SSC Napoli and will now be very difficult to get as a “secret master maker”.
Another argument in favor of Salihamidzic is that he played for Juventus Turin between 2007 and 2011 and was very popular with the club’s supporters. However, it is questionable whether the 46-year-old will be available for office again shortly after his release from FC Bayern.
