Annabelle Ham, 22, was initially believed to have disappeared after a bachelorette party last weekend in Alabama. A short time later, sad certainty prevailed: the young student from Atlanta is dead. As the “Daily Mail” reports, her body was pulled from the water in Alabama Bay by the local police and taken to the laboratory of the Alabama Department of Forensics for an autopsy.
While the exact circumstances of the death remain unclear, Annabelle’s family announced on Instagram what took the life of the influencer: “We write these lines with a heavy, heavy heart. Annabelle had an epileptic seizure and went to heaven.” The family also promised, “There will come a time when we will share more details.”
Influencer Ham used reach to fight epilepsy
According to her family, Annabelle, who had a total of almost 160,000 subscribers on social media, almost 77,000 on Instagram and 80,000 on YouTube, is said to have struggled with epilepsy “for a long time”. She also used her reach to raise awareness of the disease. A task that her family would like to take on from now on.
She ends the posting on Instagram with incredibly touching words: “Annabelle was beautiful and inspiring and lived life to the fullest. Everyone she met was inspired by her energy and the light in her soul that shone so bright. She was and always will be loved so much.”
