Individual criticism from Istanbul: Bayern were drastically inferior despite the win, two players were particularly weak.
FC Bayern wins 3-1 at Galatasaray Istanbul. The Munich team wobbled enormously over the first 70 minutes. Then the offensive wakes up. Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies had a very weak evening. Bayern in individual criticism.
Shaky in some phases, but ultimately successful: FC Bayern won the third group game in the Champions League at Galatasaray Istanbul 3-1. The offensive stars turn up late.
FC Bayern in individual criticism
SVEN ULREICH – NOTE 2: Probably the last time in the Bayern goal for the time being because Manuel Neuer is about to make a comeback. Sensational parade against Aktürkoglu (9th). Then I was lucky that the Galatasaray attacker shot his rebound over the goal (11th). No keeper likes to be knocked over by Icardi on a penalty to make it 1-1 (30′). Again with a strong save against Aktürkoglu (38th).
NOUSSAIR MAZRAOUI – NOTE 4: Most recently hit and criticized for a pro-Palestinian social media post. Now back in the starting line-up because Leon Goretzka was missing (broken metacarpal). Nervous start, produced some errors. Improved and was involved in the 2-1 win.
MATTHIJS DE LIGT – NOTE 4: Kim’s side in central defense was only able to provide Bayern’s defense with little security. Sometimes not lively enough. But with a good rescue operation in the penalty area against Icardi (61′).

Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies very weak
MIN-JAE KIM – NOTE 4: Important block against Icardi’s shot (4th), but then involved in the penalty before the 1-1. And he simply let Aktürkoglu shake him off (38′). Can do better.
ALPHONSO DAVIES – NOTE 5: Very weak performance on the left side of the defense. Lots of careless mistakes and almost no offensive impulses came from the Canadian. Shot into the side net (77th).
JOSHUA KIMMICH – NOTE 5: Unlucky: Caused the penalty with his tackle against Icardi before the 1-1 score (28th). Bad loss of the ball that almost led to 1:2 (45th). Icardi shot just wide. A little better in the second half.
KONRAD LAIMER – NOTE 3: Moved from the right-back position to the double six next to Kimmich. Strong running, saw the yellow card after a step on Ayhan’s foot (32nd). Not always convincing in terms of play, but: he fought.
Bayern’s offensive wakes up late and decides the game
LEROY SANÉ – NOTE 2: Prepared Comans 1-0 with a lot of overview. Great hook, shot just over the goal (33′). After a Kane pass, he put the ball too far forward (43′). Then he aimed too high from eight meters – a huge chance (50th). He didn’t give up, but Muslera also parried his next shot (63′). Asset.
JAMAL MUSIALA – NOTE 2: Important duel win before 1-0. Initiated some attacks with his passes and feints – and also Kane’s 2-1. Musiala then made it 3-1 with a dry right-footed shot (80th). Strong!
KINGSLEY COMAN – NOTE 2: Ice cold in front of the Galatasaray goal: After Sané’s pass, the Frenchman coolly pushed it into the left corner to make it 1-0 (8th). Next to Musiala, Munich’s best player that evening.
HARRY KANE – NOTE 2: In good hands for a long time with the Galatasaray defense, his header was blocked (36th). But then Kane was there: After Musiala’s pass, he scored in the penalty area to make it 2-1. Added the assist to make it 3-1.
