Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are all over after just a year of marriage. And as if that weren’t bad enough, the husband should blackmail the singer with intimate secrets in order to get more money than he is contractually entitled to.
Many fans had hoped that Britney Spears had finally found happiness after her long-standing argument with ex-husband Kevin Federline and the difficult time of guardianship: Model and fitness trainer Sam Asghari and the singer tied up in 2016 – at the time he had a role in her video for Song “Slumber Party” – and got engaged five years later. The wedding followed in 2022, of course secured with a marriage contract.
Now the American with Iranian roots has filed for divorce – and after the love-off he wants more money than he is entitled to according to the contract. He threatens to divulge embarrassing marriage secrets otherwise.
Ex Sam Asghari is said to have threatened Britney Spears
As reported by pagesix.com, Sam Asghari is threatening to release very sensitive information about his marriage to Britney Spears if he doesn’t get more funding than what was stipulated in the marriage contract. A source told the US side: “(He) is trying to negotiate concessions beyond the prenup – and is threatening to release extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney if he doesn’t get paid. That’s what Sam is concentrating on now.”
It is not known how high the sum from the additional claim is, and to what extent a non-disclosure clause was specified in the marriage contract.
The accused Asghari has not yet commented on the allegations
Another source denied the allegation against Asghari, 29, saying: “The split will be based on mutual respect. That (the allegations) would be blackmail – and that will never happen.”
So far, Sam Asghari has always kept a low profile in public. There were no bad words. A prenuptial agreement was signed ahead of the June 2022 wedding at the singer’s California estate, designed to protect the US star. “Any fortune she made before the marriage is protected,” a source told pagesix.com.
Not the first low blow: your sons have moved to Hawaii
Attorney Mathew Rosengart, who also advised Britney Spears on guardianship matters, drafted the marriage contract between her and her husband. The “Toxic” singer reportedly has a net worth of $70 million. However, much of that was also spent on legal fees and child support for her two children with Kevin Federline, Sean Preston and Jayden. Recently, Britney Spears’ sons, who were also absent from Sam Asghari’s wedding, moved to Hawaii.
So now Britney Spears has to take another deep blow in matters of the heart. Her husband is said to have filed for divorce because her love could no longer be repaired after the singer had an affair. Whether Sam Asghari will eventually be paid off to keep her secrets post-breakup remains to be seen.
