The world mourns the loss of music legend Tina Turner. She died at the age of 83 after a long illness. Now pop icon Cher remembered her last meeting with the singer and reveals the last words between the two.

She has had to cope with countless strokes of fate and illnesses in recent years. Tina Turner finally died on Wednesday (May 24) at the age of 83 at her home near Zurich. The music legend previously fought, among other things, colon cancer, suffered from kidney failure and survived a stroke. Her health continued to deteriorate over the years – even though her husband Erwin Bach donated a kidney in 2017.

Only her closest relatives knew how bad things were for the 83-year-old rock ‘n’ roll queen. And friend Cher was also in the know and visited Tina Turner in Switzerland. In a telephone interview, the pop icon now told about her last meeting with the “The Best” singer.
