End-2023 is a Good Timing to Find New Twitter Head, Musk Says

According to Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, it would be appropriate to find a replacement to run the social media platform by the end of 2023, when he expects that it will be financially stable social media platform.

During his virtual appearance at the World Government Summit in Dubai, Elon Musk stated that he believes it is necessary to first stabilize the organization, ensure its financial health, and establish a clear product roadmap before considering the appointment of a new CEO for Twitter. When asked about his progress in identifying a new CEO and the timeline for the hiring process, he made this comment.

Elon Musk commented that he is unsure, but he assumes that finding a new individual to lead the company towards the end of the current year would be ideal. He explained that he envisions Twitter being in a stable position at that point in time.

Elon Musk announced on Twitter on December 21st that he would step down as the chief executive of the company “as soon as I can locate an individual foolish enough to accept the position!”

He added that he would “just run the software & servers teams”.

A few days before, Elon Musk conducted a poll on Twitter to gauge public opinion on whether he should resign as the CEO of the platform. A majority of the participants who responded expressed their support for his departure.
