Renowned author Stephen King, famous for works such as “The Shining,” has called Donald Trump the “worst president of all time” on social media. This led to how “Newsweek“ reported, to strong reactions from Trump supporters. While some users criticized the author for his statements and accused him of seeking attention, others agreed with King in his criticism of Trump.

Newsweek mentions that this isn’t the first time King’s comments about Trump have gone viral online. Back in mid-September, he shared a picture of President Joe Biden smiling and waving on a bicycle, contrasting it with a picture of Trump in a golf cart wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. King, a long-time member of the Democratic Party, has repeatedly criticized Trump in the past. In 2018, for example, he criticized Trump’s demands for funding for a “border wall” and urged him to spend the money on children and veterans. A year later, King was critical of Trump’s praise of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

King Switches Support: From Warren to Biden

It’s worth noting that King originally supported Senator Elizabeth Warren during the 2020 presidential primary. However, as she dropped out of the race, King turned his attention to Joe Biden, repeatedly praising the current president on social media. According to Newsweek, both King and Trump have not yet responded to requests for comment.
