FC Bayern also fails with a new offer for England star Harry Kane

According to consistent media reports, Bayern made their second offer for Harry Kane on Sunday. But even this offer does not seem to convince those responsible in London.

The transfer poker around Harry Kane goes into the next round. After Tottenham rejected the first offer of 70 million euros plus bonuses, Bayern’s second offer did not impress Spurs boss Daniel Levy either. As the British “Daily Mail” reports, the Londoners also reject the second offer (80 million euros plus bonus payments).

According to the newspaper, the offer is currently still being evaluated, but since it is below the value that was set for Kane, everything speaks in favor of another rejection. Spurs are rumored to have a financial pain threshold of £100m (approx. €115m). Whether Bayern are willing to pay that much for Kane remains to be seen.

Kane returns to London on Wednesday

It will be exciting to see how Kane poker develops over the coming days. The 29-year-old will return from his summer vacation on Wednesday. Two days later, the Spurs will embark on their pre-season tour to Australia, Thailand and Singapore.

FC Bayern also got the starting shot for the new season this week. The performance tests are scheduled for July 13th. From July 15th to 20th, FC Bayern will be doing a mini training camp at Tegernsee before embarking on a trip to Asia (July 24th to August 3rd).

Bayern would like to complete the transfer as soon as possible, ideally before the Asia trip. At the moment, however, there is little to suggest that the Munich-based company will wrap up the deal by then.
