FC Bayern: competition in midfield! A star will leave the club

Bayern will soon be starting the new Bundesliga season. There is fierce competition raging in midfield in particular. It is quite possible that Ryan Gravenberch or Leon Goretzka will therefore leave the club. Bayern would collect a fee for both players.

Konrad Laimer and Raphael Guerreiro are completely new, Marcel Sabitzer will be back in a few days, at least for the time being. It is also quite possible that a new midfield player will move to the Isar in the next few weeks. Means: Coach Thomas Tuchel cannot complain about a lack of alternatives in the headquarters to the already known forces.

FC Bayern: Ryan Gravenberch or Leon Goretzka could still leave the club

For Ryan Gravenberch in particular, who just played through three games over 90 minutes for the Dutch U21 national team at the European Championship, playing times will probably continue to be difficult in the future. The 21-year-old made 33 competitive appearances alongside Joshua Kimmich in his first year at Bayern, but mostly only as a substitute. If Gravenberch was allowed to play, he rarely convinced. Both sides, i.e. club and player, were not really happy. In addition, the Dutchman complained publicly about the lack of operating times.

Although the youngster was considered unsaleable for a long time, Bayern are now apparently willing to talk. Liverpool FC was interested, but the “Reds” have now caught Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig and, according to “Sky”, have rejected a Gravenberch commitment. Apparently there is no lack of European interested parties. AC Milan is said to be working on the top talent at the moment. With a fee in the range of 30 million euros, Gravenberch should probably go. However, there is also a chance that the Dutchman will improve and show his undoubtedly existing qualities in Bayern dress.

FC Bayern: The club would collect a fee for both players

Should Gravenberch not change after all, Leon Goretzka could leave the club due to the oversupply in midfield. The DFB star has been disappointing in recent months and completely lost his form, especially in the second half of the season. The congenial duo of Goretzka and Kimmich that once led FCB to the triple only existed on paper. The 28-year-old often had to take a lot of criticism, sometimes a bit too much. Overall, however, the performance was inadequate. Especially in relation to Goretzka’s actual qualities. In any case, the German national player should no longer be in the first eleven.

According to reports, Goretzka would like to stay in Munich and make up for his weak year. However, if an attractive offer arrives on Säbener Straße, a transfer is quite likely. From 50 million euros, Munich could become weak. Interested top clubs from Europe abound.
