Harry Kane is still the number 1 transfer target at Bayern Munich. But a move from Tottenham to Munich seems increasingly unlikely. This is one of the reasons why Bayern are already working on a replacement candidate: Dusan Vlahovic.

Tottenham boss Daniel Levy proves to be the expected tough negotiating partner and has now been unnecessarily irritated by Uli Hoeneß. Accordingly, nobody can currently predict whether the English striker will switch to Bayern in the summer or not. This is one of the reasons why the Munich team inevitably has to work on a plan B.

It’s no longer a secret that Harry Kane’s signing is a top priority at Bayern Munich. However, those responsible in Munich are currently not ready to comply with Daniel Levy’s enormous demands. According to rumours, he is demanding almost 115 million euros for his top scorer. Accordingly, the club is considering an attack on a free transfer Kane transfer next summer. In such a scenario, Bayern would still not go into the 2023/24 season without a new striker.

FC Bayern: Vlahovic the number one alternative to Kane?

According to information from “tz”, Dusan Vlahovic is Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel’s plan B. Accordingly, the Serbian national player in the service of Juventus Turin is a “typical Tuchel player”, as heard from FCB internally. Bayern are said to have had initial loose talks with Vlahovic’s management. But one thing is clear: Harry Kane is and remains the number 1 transfer target for the German record champions.

At some point, however, a decision will have to be made at Kane – at least for this summer. Should it turn out that the Tottenham star is not available, at least in this transfer window, Bayern would probably come back to Vlahovic. The “Bild” newspaper recently reported that in the event of a failure with Kane, a loan should be used as an interim solution. Vlahovic would certainly be a candidate for such a deal, but that should also depend on whether Juve Romelu can sign Lukaku as a replacement.
