Security expert Nico Lange notes positive developments in the Ukrainian backlash. While making slower progress than desired, she has made significant strides in the past two weeks. In order to achieve this, however, reserve troops were deployed on the front line. Ukraine is now making progress and is increasingly putting Russia under pressure. However, it remains uncertain whether this will lead to significant successes.

Lange currently sees no “Frozen Conflict”. Instead of deadlocked conflict or trench warfare, we are witnessing continuous and fierce fighting in Ukraine. The Ukrainian armed forces are striving to overcome Russia’s strong defensive positions, and they are gradually succeeding.

According to Lange, the troops from Kiev could launch further actions after this offensive.
