Italians report: Bayern build 100 million offer for Naples striker

Victor Osimhen has long been associated with a move to Bayern Munich, until early May when reports circulated that Munich had withdrawn from the transfer deal for the Napoli striker. Now the trail to the 24-year-old from SSC Napoli is getting hot again.

After the transfer bankruptcy in the competition for Declan Rice, FC Bayern seems to be focusing its transfer efforts on finding a new centre-forward. In addition to Randal Kolo Muani, Victor Osimhen is still a topic in Munich.

As the “Corriere dello Sport” reports, Munich are actively working on a commitment from the Nigerian. Accordingly, the Bavarians are currently preparing a 100 million euro offer for the attacker.

Napoli boss demands very high transfer fee for Osimhen

Osimhen is on the wish lists of numerous top clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain. PSG in particular could venture a push at Osimhen in view of the tense situation surrounding Kylian Mbappé.

However, it is interesting: According to “Sky” information the former Wolfsburg professional is open to a move to Bayern Munich. According to reports, the Munich team has been in contact with the players in the recent past.

Osimhen is considered Thomas Tuchel’s dream striker

The much bigger problem should be SSC Napoli, more precisely club boss Aurelio De Laurentiis. According to consistent reports, De Laurentiis is demanding 150 million euros for his top scorer and should not be willing to talk about the transfer.

Osimhen is contractually bound to the Italian champions until 2025 and has no opt-out clause. The current market value of the striker is estimated by “Transfermarkt” at 100 million euros.

As “Sport Bild” reports, Osimhen is Thomas Tuchel’s dream solution. The 49-year-old is looking for a real centre-forward whose strengths lie in the penalty area and finishing. With 31 goals in 39 games, Osimhen impressively demonstrated his goalscoring qualities last season.
