Pop star Madonna recently collapsed and even had to be ventilated in the hospital. Now she reports to her fans, gives the all-clear and reveals what she thought of first after waking up.
Her family was already fearing the worst when pop star Madonna (64) had to be taken to the emergency room unconscious on June 24. But then there was the all-clear and now she is already reporting back to her fans via Instagram.
Pop star thanks the fans for their support
In her statement on the platform, she thanks her fans for the positive energy, prayers, healing words and motivation. “I felt your love. I am healing and incredibly grateful for all the good that I have in my life.”
Madonna after collapse: “I hate disappointing anyone”
She also reveals quite frankly what was the first thing on her mind in the first few moments after her breakdown. “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I don’t want to disappoint anyone who has already bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to disappoint the people who have worked tirelessly with me over the past few months to create this show. I hate disappointing anyone,” Madonna said. But what’s next for the singer, who apparently works so tirelessly herself that it eventually became a badass health hazard?
Madonna wants to focus on health
According to her statement, she wants to at least take it easy. “My focus now is on my health and getting strong. I assure you: I will be with you again as soon as I can. The current plan is to postpone the North American portion of the tour and start in Europe in October.”
Under the post, many relieved fans, but also famous companions of Madonna, also have their say. Designer Donatella Versace (68) writes in a comment: “We are with you all the time, Madonna. Thinking of you and sending you love, strength and hugs for a speedy recovery. The world can’t wait to see you back on stage! I love you so much!”
