Martina Voss-Tecklenburg: Charges against DFB boss’s husband
Accordingly, the husband, who is president and main sponsor of the SV Straelen football club, and four other people in charge of the professional association are said to have withheld almost 642,000 euros in social security contributions and 220,000 euros in contributions between 2015 and 2020. The total amount is just under 862,000 euros. It is currently being examined whether proceedings will take place. A negotiation would not start until 2024 at the earliest.
Tecklenburg told the “Rheinische Post”: “One or two players also received travel money. But in my opinion the amount mentioned in the indictment is far too high. The lawyers will now deal with this. In any case, I am confident that the stated amount of 862,000 euros will be revised downwards significantly.”
