For several months, Eka Darville’s young son battled cancer. Now Mana has died at the age of just ten.

Earlier this year, Marvel’s Jessica Jones actor Eka Darville received shocking news. His eldest son Mana was diagnosed with several brain tumors. Since then, the little one has fought bravely against his illness. His family has been giving updates on social media over the past few months. They not only asked Eka’s fans for donations for Mana’s treatment, but also repeatedly for joint prayers. Now Mana has died at just ten years old.

“You can imagine how great Eka’s grief is”

The little one’s grandmother announced this in an emotional video on Instagram. “He left his body last night. He took his last breath at 7:22 p.m. I still wanted to come together to pray because he will always be with us. He’s still with us,” she explains in the clip. Although Mana’s grandmother appears very composed, the pain of her tragic loss is clearly visible: “You can imagine how great the grief is for Eka, Lila and Lila’s parents, his grandparents, me and his little brothers.” Still emphasized them that Mana is now free.

Eka herself has not yet commented on Mana’s untimely death.
