Petro then suggested breaking off relations between the two states. “If we have to cut off foreign relations with Israel, we will cut them off,” he wrote.

Previously, Petro had repeatedly condemned the Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on X following the attacks by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Israel.
