New comeback is coming! Today Bayern coach Tuchel is speaking at a press conference

According to a media report, Manuel Neuer will make his comeback to FC Bayern Munich after more than ten months of injury. The TV channel Sky reported this on Friday. Coach Thomas Tuchel made the decision in consultation with Neuer and goalkeeper coach Michaelrechner.

The 37-year-old captain will be part of the German football record champions’ squad again for Saturday’s Bundesliga home game against SV Darmstadt 98 and will immediately receive a place in the starting eleven. The last time Neuer was in the Munich goal was on November 12, 2022 in a 2-0 away win against FC Schalke.

Neuer would also celebrate his debut under Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel. When he took office in the spring, Neuer was already missing due to injury. On Friday, the Bayern coach spoke at the press conference before the game.

The 2014 world champion played his last game to date in Germany’s early World Cup exit in Qatar on December 1, 2022 against Costa Rica. After the tournament, he broke his tibia and fibula on his right lower leg during a ski tour. Since then he has been working on his comeback.
