Not sufficiently appreciated: Trump freaks out over Fox News

Donald Trump, the former US president, reacted violently to Fox News because of a report about the Middle East and the fight against terrorism of previous US presidents. According to the US news portal “Raw Story” Trump felt overlooked on a Fox & Friends show in which the hosts discussed the anti-terrorism measures of former Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush without mentioning Trump’s efforts in this area.

Name deliberately left out?

Trump commented on the incident on his own social media platform “Truth Social”. He complained that the anchors did not mention his name when discussing the anti-terrorism actions of Reagan and Bush. Trump emphasized that he had taken action against ISIS, al-Baghdadi and Soleimani and accused Fox News of deliberately omitting his name.

Comparison with Harry Potter

In another comment, he drew a comparison between himself and the character “Lord Voldemort” from the Harry Potter books, claiming he had become “he who shall not be named” for Fox News. According to Raw Story, Trump suggested that Paul Ryan, the retired congressman and Fox Corporation board member, might be behind the decision not to mention his name. Trump concluded his remarks by saying that if you look at the polls, people understand the situation.
