Painful sciatic problems: Adele struggles at Las Vegas concerts

The British singer Adele apparently still suffers from severe sciatica. She was reportedly unable to move after being attacked.

It has been known for some time that 35-year-old Adele suffers from severe sciatica. During her performances in Las Vegas, a painful attack seems to have occurred, after which the British singer could no longer move.

She collapsed behind the scenes, Adele explained to her fans, according to a report by the British tabloid “The Sun”. The superstar was unable to move and a member of the show’s production team found Adele backstage like this.

“They lifted my whole body off the ground,” she reportedly said. The 35-year-old also had to take a break during a weekend performance and said, “I’m going to sit down and rest my sciatica.”

Adele: “I’ve had back pain for half my life”

On New Year’s Eve, Adele explained that she had these problems as part of her “Weekends with Adele” show in Las Vegas. “Right now I have to waddle because I have really bad sciatica,” she said, among other things, in a recording published by the gossip newspaper “Daily Star”.

“I had my first herniated disc when I was 15 because I sneezed. I lay in bed, sneezed and my fifth disc flew out,” she said in an interview with The Face magazine at the end of 2021. In January she had her “sixth herniated disc”, she explained at the time. “I’ve had back pain for half my life. It keeps flaring up, usually due to stress or a stupid attitude.”

Adele’s Las Vegas show was expanded to include numerous concerts in March. Performances are currently planned until the beginning of November.
