In the midst of these tragic events, RTL is reacting with a special program for tonight, September 9, 2023. At 8:15 p.m., “RTL Aktuell Spezial”, a ten-minute program presented by presenter Roberta Bierling, will be broadcast.

This decision in no way affects the rest of the evening, although it was originally planned to start reporting on the international soccer match between Germany and Japan at exactly this time. The start of the football broadcast has now been postponed slightly to 8:25 p.m. Ball sports lovers don’t have to worry, however, as kick-off doesn’t take place until 8:45 p.m. anyway.
