Til Schweiger doesn’t have particularly good press at the moment. After complaints about the filming of the movie “Manta Manta – Second Part” were made public, the actor, producer and director commented on the allegations in a detailed “stern” interview. Regarding his alcohol consumption, the 59-year-old said: “It gradually increased and then there was a loss of control.”
Schweiger will be all the more pleased to note that another entertainment star is now publicly supporting him. In the current episode of the VOX cooking show “Grill den Henssler” Schweiger’s daughter Luna (26) appears as a challenger to the show’s namesake. She incorrectly calls the TV chef “Stefan” instead of Steffen. But Henssler doesn’t seem to take it badly. He comes out as a fan of her father.
“Without flax, Til Schweiger makes the hottest sweaters on the planet,” says the Hamburg native, praising the fashion collection of the versatile actor. Then he takes up the cause of his ex-gastronomy colleague, who is currently being heavily criticized (Schweiger recently gave up the management of his Hamburg restaurants). Henssler about Schweiger: “Good guy. Stay true to yourself and don’t give a shit.”

Will Til Schweiger thank you for your support with an appearance on “Grill den Henssler”? There may not be much time for this. Just a week after the tenth anniversary edition of the successful series, Henssler thinks out loud about quitting in the current episode.
When presenter Laura Wontorra (34) gives the starting signal “for the next ten years – at least”, the 51-year-old weighs it down. It’s strange if “I can still get out of here when I’m 60.” At least he allows himself to be persuaded to confess: “Well, I might have three or four good years left.” His plan for the time afterwards: “Select my successor myself and then retire to the jury.”
