The FC Bayern players have secured their fifth German championship title. In the season finale on Sunday, the Munich team maintained their lead in the Bundesliga ahead of VfL Wolfsburg by beating relegated Turbine Potsdam 11-1.

In addition to Turbine Potsdam, the women’s team of SV Meppen also has to go into the second division. They lost 6-0 to Eintracht Frankfurt and were unable to relegate either the Duisburg or Cologne teams.
