The rumors about an early farewell to Lucas Hernandez from Munich did not escape Thomas Tuchel either. On Wednesday, several media outlets unanimously reported that the Frenchman had put contract talks with Bayern on hold and was seriously considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain. “I noticed the headlines. That surprised me,” said Tuchel at Friday’s pre-game press conference.

FC Köln on Saturday after returning to team training, Tuchel said: “Lucas set a new record time in rehabilitation after the injury. It would be beyond irresponsible to include him in the squad.
