US Open not at Eurosport, but Becker is still there as an expert

“It’s a fantastic tournament. Anyone who has ever been to New York and experienced the night session in front of 25,000 spectators – I will never forget that,” said Becker, looking forward to the possible duel between the “old king” Novak Djokovic and the “new king” Carlos Alcaraz. Becker won the US Open in 1989.

As the operator of Sportdeutschland.TV, DOSB New Media GmbH surprisingly secured the media rights to the US Open from 2023 to 2027. Users can follow every match live – singles, doubles, mixed and games from the junior and wheelchair sections. Some of the games will be available free of charge, including qualification and doubles up to the semifinals.

For the main round, Sportdeutschland.TV offers a four-hour, free conference from the Düsseldorf studio every day. The live switch will be accompanied by Alexander Zverev’s older brother Mischa, among others. If you want to see the full program of the US Open, you can buy an “All Access Tournament Ticket” for 20 euros (until August 20th) or 25 euros. A day ticket costs 10 euros, individual matches 5 euros.

Users have the option of contacting Becker and Co. via a chat function. “I’m really looking forward to communicating directly with the fans,” said Becker.

In recent years, the US Open has been broadcast on Eurosport, and the broadcaster also has the Australian and French Opens on its programme. The media rights for the Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon are held by the pay TV broadcaster Sky.
