World champion Mac Allister comes to the Reds: Klopp gets the first desired player

Liverpool and Brighton have finally agreed a move. Alexis Mac Allister will join Jürgen Klopp’s team this summer. Liverpool therefore benefit from the release clause of the 24-year-old Argentine. Liverpool did not provide any information about the contract period, which should be “long-term”, or the transfer fee.

After initial reports of a transfer fee of up to 70 million euros, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now states that Liverpool “only” have to transfer almost 40 million euros to Brighton. Mac Allister is the first signing of the Klopp team, which qualified fifth only for the Europa League.
