The Tripoli Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Center has hosted the first Oncology Conference 2026 under the patronage of the National Cancer Control Authority.
The three-day event will unite a team of oncology specialists and experts, as well as the representatives of health and scientific institutions in Libya.

The conference offers a forum where medical practitioners can share their expertise and knowledge and deliberate on the most recent methods of cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment.
The participants are also looking into how they can enhance oncology services and the quality of care that cancer patients can receive in the country.
The event will include a set of scientific sessions and specialized discussions on cancer control, during which experts will discuss the main priorities, challenges and opportunities to enhance the healthcare response in Libya.
It is believed that the conference will be part of the national initiatives to build and enhance high-quality cancer care services and help patients achieve better outcomes.
