Jordanian authorities on Monday identified three suspects arrested in connection with last week’s deadly church attack, saying the men belong to the same family.
Director of Public Security Major General Abdullah Al-Maaytah announced at a press conference that the suspects comprised two brothers and their brother-in-law.
“The perpetrators of the attack on the church were two brothers and the third was their relative by marriage,” Al-Maaytah said.

Authorities identified the suspects as Hazza Zaidan Mohammed, Meshal Zaidan Mohammed and Ahmad Sami Hussein. The three were arrested during a dawn operation on Monday as part of the investigation into the deadly assault.
The announcement marks a development in the investigation as Jordanian authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack and determine the suspects’ alleged roles.
